We are currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our Rental Solutions team headquartered in Bettendorf, IA. The individual will play a crucial role in aiding our valued clients seamlessly adopt and optimally utilize the expansive array of product functionality that we offer in our Rental Software Solution as well as other complimentary solutions in our suite of software products.

Summary:
This role entails delivering stellar customer assistance to our top tier clientele by examining and resolving challenges presented by clients. Integral duties incorporated within this position involve acquiring expertise in our unique suite of software, addressing client queries via multiple communication platforms, pinpointing issues, and implementing resolutions, as well as documenting instances of various software anomalies.

Working collaboratively within a team environment is vital in achieving high-satisfaction level for these elite customers. This unique position will pair the customer support specialist with one of our top tier clients.  The person in this position will hold re-occurring meetings with a dedicated contact, aid in training new hires for the customer and do routine system checks. We extend comprehensive training on the use of our specialized utilities,

The ideal candidate would have experience with working in the Rental Industry and have used a rental software solution as part of managing operations within that business. Ideal experience in the rental space would include rental of general tools, heavy equipment, party and event, or equivalent. We are not looking for a help desk, IT support person or a developer we are looking for strong customer facing communications skills with knowledge in the rental space.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top support to customers, resolving user-based issues in a timely and satisfactory way.
  • Maximum proficiency and familiarity within the role, on the customers platforms.
  • Communicate between management personnel and product development teams at integraSoft to refine product functionality. Feeding into the overarching goal of escalating customer satisfaction through dynamic issue resolution.
  • When issues arise, initiate diagnostic procedures promptly either via telephone, remote connection with users or email correspondence when appropriate. Then clearly communicating steps toward problem resolution to the customer.
  • Operating within a fast-paced organization. Effective prioritization is key; ensuring multiple customer issues are addressed based on their severity guaranteeing swift responsiveness in times of high demand.
  • Continually develop product expertise by reviewing new functionality, testing product issues, and utilizing internal resources.
  • Manage client relationships including conflict resolution where necessary along with adherence to deadlines for deliverables.
  • Provide regular two-way communication between the customer and technical team.
  • Clearly communicate the progress towards resolution per established SLA guidelines.
  • Proactively help customers adopt new features and functions.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or accounting related field is required. Equivalent level of experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated customer service background or direct consulting experience.
  • 2+ years, experience working within a rental business that rents equipment or party & event in any or all of the following capacities: Rental counter customer service, rental sales, rental equipment service, online ecommerce.
  • Experience using a Rental Software solution
  • Demonstrated knowledge troubleshooting software issues.

  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation skills are required.
  • Highly, self-motivated personality with exceptional time management skills.
